Anyways, a lazy day at Cin's place, actually a housewarming. I went early to do some fixes. One of which is the iBook, which is pretty dead.

I spent the whole night stripping it down... and after some rigorous testing, concluded that the motherboard and hdd had to both be changed.

Brand New Motherboard: 349
Brand New HDD: 80

Well... Now I might be able to get these on the second hand market for less, but it might last much shorter than a proper new one. Still undecided.


Anyways, Cin's iBook G4 is dedd, so she got herself a macbook. With an Apple Remote. Oh the bane of having a remote. She uses it 30cm away from the comp.
