These Boots are Made for Walkin' & Hope.

My cam is alive again!!! and in the stpirit of me lurving my cam, I took a nice panorama pic of the cityscape from golden mile tower while at a clients' office.

Anyway hectic hectic hectic, wrapping up all outstanding jobs so I can take that long-awaited break. Today, before lunch with Clarisse, we went to Zara to have a look at their shoes, and somehow Zara's shoes seem to fit her feet snugly... *snigger*... atas feet.... cos charles & keith, noda, or prettyfit all don't fit that nicely due to her oddly-shaped feet.

Anyways, we found something really really nice.

She tried it on, and walked around abit,

and then she bought it.

It's a really nice pair of flat boots, felt surface with nylon linings on the inside. Well she said it wuz very comfy, so there goes my plans of getting her a pair of custom-made boots. =( It wasn't cheap, but wasn't exorbitant either considering the quality, at 139bux.

It's meant for winter, bought early as she can wear it this time round in our HK trip as well. It's gonna come in handy when she goes to NY in late jan.

Anyways, she was just trying her boots on, with thick winter socks to test if she needs something bigger.

She just tried and tried but her feet just got stuck half-way every time. I yanked it off her feet, looked inside, and pulled out a piece of cardboard and two lumps of paper stuffing.

She's pretty silly sometimes...

Another item she tried on and both of us loved very much, was a 80% cotton 20% nylon warm and snug trench coat. However, the price tag and the fact that it isn't necessary for HK (tho prob necessary for NY), we decided to wait for the Xmas sale, where it's rumoured that Zara usually has a 30% off. Only prob is we might not be able to find the right size then...but 429 for a trench coat is seriously quite very steep la. at 70% it's still 300 bux, but at that price it will be much better value for $$.

Silly me forgot that my cam got restored to factory settings, so there was flash indoors (normally I always turn it off), so we were absolutely embarassed when the flash came out....(check out the bright spot in the pic, it's a reflection) save for the fact that we were holding a huge Zara bag with Clarisse's new boots inside. We zoomed zoomed out of the place with our tongues stuck out... ^_^|||

OMT I'm a jackass.

All that aside.

Let's all hope for the best for Calvin's grandma.

May she pull through the ordeal.
