So I'm just gonna try to catch up with my blogging a little at a time.
First of all, a visitor from Japan.
Hanazaki-san.
A friend I met back in Taiwan for Apec-TiC Conference 2006, we were both entrepreneurial candidates. He's currently my benchmark for achievements, as he's my age, and he's already sold one biz and running a new one, and drives a merce in Tokyo.
Well yes, he didn't have to serve in the military, and his merce E320 cost him a mere 20ksgd (T-T so cheap); that doesn't make his achievements small.
As he was only here for 3 nights, I could only bring him around on 2 nights.
Also brought him to Lau Pa Sat for an authentic local dinner with BBQ Stingray, La-la, Satay, etc. followed by tuang-ing at VivoCity roof. Would have wanted to bring him around more places, but he's got a really tight sched this biz trip.
He's already booked a place as our host when we visit Tokyo next year ^_^
And some (not-so) new purchases!
Always wanted to have a pair of whitte shooz but couldn't find anything I liked which didn't cost a bomb, e.g. at lane crawfurd at S$400+ per pair. This pair, which just appeared at Pedro, costs only 120, and very comfy for me.
Cheuk Fung mentioned that Pedro shooz hurt his feet; which is weird cos both my Pedro shooz fit snugly. Possibly, it just happens that their cutting fits my weird-shaped feet.
When she graduated, she bought me a limited edition Seiko Criteria black steel watch. So, this year, after my graduation, I returned the favour with a white one... well it's not limited edition but I thought it looked really classy. (which is the direction I'm pushing her as her fashion consultant ^_^|||)
And I am responsible for picking her entire look as she attended her colleague's 上海滩 themed wedding:
Pearl earrings totally add to the shanghai-ish flavour!
Which reminds me of a long time ago, when I did an anon ad for PSB Academy.
Both the front guy and the back guy, is me. Kudos to PS.'twas cheap labour, but pretty fun as I saw this on JCDecaux poster stands, and on buses. Since it was faded out, no one could tell it was me, but ME. so I was laughing to myself as buses moved past with people thinking I'm mad.
