April Bull's

Currently, I'm staring at the four cans of red bull on my desk.

Which I just bought from 7-eleven 5-minutes away from home.

After waking up in the middle of the night @3am.

Well upon waking up, I felt something wasn't right. Went to my comp, went online to check my schedule, and my eyes almost popped out.

There's a final quiz tmr @4pm for a module with no exam, and obviously I haven't started studying.

Considering I had my time planned perfectly to complete the 1 x essay due Friday and 2 x essays due on Monday, and preparation for a Jap skit today (thursday), I didn't exactly have space for a final quiz.

Well it isn't that the quiz is hell important, it's a totally pushover module titled "Einstein's universe & quantum wierdness" (which is an intro to quantum physics), but fact is it's easy to pass but hard to score. However, even if I do the bare minimum I'll be able to pass, but bare minimum takes at least 2 hours.

Given I have only 4 hours of my sleep left, I might as well spend it all on studying.

No matter, cos I'm positively motivated by my 2 moral philo essays, which I got A and B+ respectively. ^____^

A year ago I resolved to up my writing average to B+, and I seem to have outperformed that by a little, and I'm positively happy.

Now I'll get to work, to make a blast of a finish for my final sem in school.

On a side note, positively pissed today.

Clarisse was withdrawing cash near her office, when we found an orange LV wallet. There being no identification, we waited there for awhile before we thought of calling citibank to contact the cardholder.

That kinda worked, and she called, and came back to the ATM. After authenticating it was hers by asking the colour and brand of the wallet and contents, we passed her the wallet.

She grabbed it extremely rudely, said "thank God" while turning around and walking off swiftly. Couldn't be bothered how we found it, didn't ask anything. Just grabbed and left.

Clarisse and I stared at each other for a few seconds in disgust.

Lady, God didn't find your wallet, we did. Neither did God wait 45 min for you, nor spend the effort to find your credit card and call Citibank in order to reach you.

THE VERY LEAST YOU COULD HAVE DONE, WAS TO HAVE A LITTLE APPRECIATION.

I didn't do it for a reward, but it would have been much nicer if you were to offer some form of gratitude that I could reject with a smile.

You made me feel like a total idiot for waiting.

The last time my Brother lost his car keys while jogging @ east coast, a good samaritan who picked it up, drove to every carpark in east coast, pressing the remote to find my brother's car. Considering my bro dropped it more than 10km away from his car, it was an immense effort. After that, he left a note on the windscreen, directing my bro to the Marine Parade Police Station.

When we reached there, contacted the guy through the police officer; that's how we found out how he found the car. My bro asked for his contact as he wanted to send a token of appreciation to him, but it was declined in good faith.

I brought the spare key to my bro @east coast, that's how I knew this story.

A simple 'thank you', which takes less than a second of your time, can go a very long way.

Man, she just screwed a good day for me.
